Movable Ink and (RED) Partner for Storytelling that Inspires

Here at Movable Ink, we’re strong supporters of organizations taking strides to improve the world.

Movable Ink was founded with the belief that all companies today need digital tools to tell stories with personalized context to millions of people at the same time. This not only applies to eCommerce and travel brands, it’s also true for nonprofits focused on a mission.

But telling effective stories, which is one of the most effective ways for nonprofits to mobilize advocates, can be challenging when forced to do more with less.

In that spirit, we’re excited to announce that Movable Ink is teaming up with (RED), the AIDS organization founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver.

(RED)’s mission is to engage people and businesses in the fight to end AIDS, and to date it has raised more than $300 million for the Global Fund to fight AIDS. And 100% of that money goes to work on the ground in Africa.

(RED) is known for creative, provocative, and innovative campaigns, which raise money and awareness. We are excited to announce that they will now be using Movable Ink to add contextual content to their emails to create better experiences and help boost engagement and action from their supporters.

As (RED) aims to reach people new and innovative ways, email can be a powerful driver of success.

Telling stories that are true, authentic and bring to life the who, why and how people can join us to fight AIDS,” according to Chrysi Philalithes, Chief Digital Officer for (RED). “We have one aim – to inspire people to act. Teaming up with Movable Ink will help us do that and we thank them for joining us in the fight for an AIDS FREE GENERATION.”

With Movable Ink, brands of all types have experienced the positive uplift that dynamic, contextual email content can have on audience engagement and action — from app downloads to eCommerce sales.

In our partnership with (RED), we will work to leverage the creative potential of Movable Ink’s technology. For example: using maps and geolocation to enhance fundraising efforts and highlight in real-time where funds are being raised, showcasing activity from supporters on (RED)’s social channels, and driving awareness and sales of the products showcased in their online store.

Nonprofits must tell stories that sync with each audience member’s core beliefs and values. Our collaboration with (RED) reflects a joint commitment to transform the way nonprofits use content to crystallize stories that resonate and stir people to respond in ways that change the world for the better.
